Every animal has a story. You become part of it.

Behind every spay or neuter is an animal given the chance to live a healthier life. An animal who no longer has to endure pregnancy after pregnancy on the streets. An animal whose puppies or kittens will not be born into pain and uncertainty.

You may never meet them, but the impact of your kindness will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Right now, thousands of dogs are roaming the streets of Thailand—hungry, injured, and continuing to reproduce without control.

Spaying and neutering works. It is one of the most humane, effective, and sustainable ways to reduce the number of stray animals and prevent new generations from being born into a life of suffering—by stopping that suffering before it begins.

Since 2011, Project Street Dogs Thailand Foundation has been working on the ground in Thailand to spay and neuter animals, rescue them, provide medical treatment, and, whenever possible, find them loving homes. Since 2020, we have significantly expanded our work, and with your support, we can keep going.

Why spay and neuter?

One unspayed female dog and her descendants can potentially produce tens of thousands of offspring over several years. Behind those numbers are individual lives at risk of hunger, disease, injury, and suffering on the streets.

Spaying and neutering is more than a medical procedure. It is prevention on a large scale. It means addressing the cause rather than only treating the consequences. It helps break the cycle before another generation is born into it.
